Schools and Universities are constantly improving their facilities to offer a higher standard of education for our children, but who is expected to run the building projects?

I have taken a fresh look at the way building projects are procured and managed on educational estates - often more with habit and convenience in mind than efficiency and accountability.

Do school Bursars and Property Managers have the time, expertise and energy to specify and oversee building work, discuss the design concept with stakeholders, read the Contractor’s small print and…negotiate the price?

If not, they probably need an independent Client Representative to guide them through the key stages and professionals needed for any capital project on the campus.

I am confident that clients will save significantly more than my fee from cost savings I negotiate and control, with the added comfort that the project is more likely to be delivered on time and on budget.
